Many thanks to John and Harriet for the recent purchases from Amazon. These will go a long way to helping us restock after our recent deployments.

Our volunteers and control room are returning to S

Our volunteers and control room are returning to Standby Status after a second day and night of assisting Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service, Northamptonshire Search and Rescue, West Northamptonshire Council and Northamptonshire Police.

Tasks included:
*Getting equipment and rescue technicians into flooded areas.
*Evacuating flooded residents to safe locations.
*Removing vehicles from the road where access was blocked for emergency service teams.
*Deploying a specialist water rescue team to assist NSAR in checking welfare or evacuating residents.
*Welfare and preparedness for flooding check for many residents at another at risk location overnight.
*Running our control room and ensuring welfare checks are carried out while volunteers carried out their duties.

We remain ready to assist today.

4 of our responders got deployed to collect 50 beds and bedding to be transported to a rest centre, for the evacuated residents from billing aquadrome flooding
