Like so many others, we were deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, but honoured to be able to take part in the county’s commemorative events, alongside many other organisations. Our volunteers were on duty throughout the mourning period to help ensure mourners’ safety, and direct people to where they needed to be.
We were also at the annual Land Rover Owner Show at the East of England Showground in Peterborough, and alongside colleagues from other 4×4 Response UK teams, participated in the event’s marking of the occasion by assembling Land Rovers in to the letters ER, entering the arena to the hymn Jerusalem, followed by a two-minute silence and the National Anthem.
